Danielle is the FOIA Manager of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and has nearly 10 years of experience in information disclosure law. Notably, Danielle led the FOIA team to a 65% backlog reduction since its peak in August of 2019.
She served as an FOIA and Privacy Act case manager for the Department of State’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). She has handled complex, high-profile litigation for both the Department of State and USDA. Prior to joining CFPB, she served as the FOIA officer for USDA’s Office of General Counsel where she facilitated a reduction in FOIA processing time and the backlog.
Danielle has successfully represented government agencies in inter-agency committees and task forces to improve FOIA processing. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Carolina and a Juris Doctor from the Duquesne University School of Law.
