Ms. Kibbe has over 25 years of legal experience. Currently, Ms. Kibbe handles a full docket of litigation and investigation matters, issues relating to litigation readiness, in-house legal discovery processes, privacy an cross- border litigation transfers and information governance issues. Ms. Kibbe was Of Counsel at Morgan Lewis and also served as Managing Director, Expert & Professional Services for EpiqSystems and RVM Enterprises. She also served as Senior Corporate Counsel and Managing Director of the Discovery Response Team at Pfizer, Inc., where she started the company's first discovery and cross border function and served as counsel to the information governance team. Prior to Pfizer, Ms. Kibbe was an Associate at Kaye Scholer LLP in New York and an Attorney for Texaco Inc. in White Plains, NY.
Ms. Kibbe received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law and her B.A., magna cum laude, in Legal Studies from Manhattanville College. She is an attorney licensed to practice in New York and Connecticut.
Ms. Kibbe was the recipient of the 2013 National Law Journal Inaugural Trailblazers and Pioneer in the Business of Law Award; She was voted One of Corporate Counsel Magazine’s Top 10 Innovative In-House Counsel in 2006 and named one of four “trailblazers of 2006” in electronic data discovery by Corporate Counsel Magazine.
She is a member of Sedona Working Group 1 and on several Steering Committee business committees for Working Group 6. She serves as an Advisory Board Member and former Co-Chair of the Advanced eDiscovery Institute of Georgetown Law School and an Advisory Board Member of the Legal Technology Professionals Institute. Ms. Kibbe has authored numerous articles on various ediscovery, privacy and information governance issues for Law Technology News, Today’s General Counsel, Inside Litigation, Metropolitan Corporate Counsel, The Legal Intelligencer and Corporate Counsel magazine and is a frequent international speaker on these issues.
Ms. Kibbe holds US patent 8.560.378, issued on 10/15/2013 for the system and method of reviewing and producing documents utilizing technology assisted review.
